In order to evaluate freezing tolerance of calendula an experiment was carried out at college of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhadin a factorial-completely randomized design with three replications and plants of two sowing dates (summer and autumn) were exposed to12 temperatures (0, -2, -4, -6, -8, -10, -12, 14- ,16-, -18, -20 and -22oC). Seeds of calendula plants were sown in summer (summer plant) and autumn (autumn plant) in the bed and in six to eight-leaf stages were transplanted to the pots. After the cold acclimation in natural condition, freezing stress was applied with using a thermo gradient freezer. To employ stability of cytoplasmic membrane, percentage of electrolyte leakage (EL%) was measured after freezing. Also survival percentage (Su%) and regrowth of calendula plants determined after three weeks recovery. Leaves EL% in autumn plants was significantly more than summer plants and autumn plants have higher Su%, but plant height, number of lateral branches, numbers of reproductive traits, total dry matter, vegetative and reproductive dry matter in summer plants were more than autumn plants. However, there were no difference between calendula plants for LT50el in both autumn and summer plants, but there was significant difference between them for LT50su and total dry matter, and LT50su and reduced dry matter temperature50 (RDMT50)for summer plants were -18.6 oC and -11.3 oC and for autumn plants were -19.4 oC and -13.7 oC, respectively.}, keywords = {Dry matter,Electrolyte leakage,Lateral stem,Plant height,Survival percentage}, title_fa = {بررسی تحمل به یخ‌زدگی گیاه همیشه‌ بهار (Calendula officinalis) در مرحله رشد رویشی و زایشی}, abstract_fa = {همیشه بهار گیاهی نسبتاً متحمل به سرما می‌باشد، ولی در برخی سال‌ها به دلیل شدت سرمای زمستان خسارت شدیدی به گیاه وارد می‌شود. لذا این مطالعه با هدف ارزیابی اثر تنش یخ‌زدگی بر گیاه همیشه بهار به‌صورت فاکتوریل بر پایه طرح کاملاً تصادفی با سه تکرار در دانشکده کشاورزی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد انجام شد. فاکتورهای مورد بررسی دو تاریخ کاشت (تابستان و پاییز) و 12 دماهای یخ‌زدگی (صفر، 2-، 4-، 6-، 8-، 10-، 12-، 14-، 16-، 18-، 20-،22- درجه سانتی‌گراد) بودند. بذر گیاهان در تابستان (کشت اول) و پاییز (کشت دوم) در خزانه کشت شد و پس از رسیدن گیاهان به مرحله شش تا هشت برگی به گلدان‌های اصلی انتقال یافتند. پس از گذراندن دوره خوسرمایی در شرایط طبیعی، تنش یخ‌زدگی با استفاده از فریزر ترموگرادیان اعمال گردید. به‌منظور تعیین ثبات غشاء پلاسمایی درصد نشت الکترولیت‌ها از برگ گیاهان پس از یخ‌زدگی اندازه‌گیری شد و درصد بقاء بوته های همیشه بهار و رشد مجدد آن‌ها نیز سه هفته پس از قرار داشتن در شرایط بازیافت تعیین گردید. درصد نشت الکترولیت‌ها در برگ گیاهان کشت پاییزه به‌طور معنی‌داری بیش‌تر از برگ گیاهان کاشت تابستان بود. بررسی درصد بقاء گیاهان در پایان دوره بازیافت نشان داد که گیاهان کشت پاییز درصد بقاء بیش‌تری از گیاهان کاشت تابستانه داشتند، اما از نظر ارتفاع، تعداد ساقه فرعی و اجزای زایشی، وزن خشک کل، وزن خشک اجزاء رویشی و زایشی گیاهان کشت تابستان برتر از آن‌ها در کشت پاییز بودند. اگرچه گیاهان دو تاریخ کاشت از نظر دمای 50 درصد کشندگی بر اساس درصد نشت الکترولیت‌ها (LT50el) تفاوت معنی‌داری با یکدیگر نداشتند، اما از لحاظ دمای 50 درصد کشندگی بر اساس درصد بقاء (LT50su) و وزن خشک تفاوت معنی‌داری بین گیاهان کاشت تابستان و پاییز مشاهده گردید و LT50su و دمای کاهنده 50 درصد وزن خشک گیاه (RDMT50) به‌ترتیب در کاشت تابستان 6/18- و 3/11- درجه سانتی‌گراد و در کاشت پاییز 4/19- و 7/13- درجه سانتی‌گراد بود.}, keywords_fa = {ارتفاع بوته,درصد بقاء,ساقه فرعی,نشت الکترولیت,وزن خشک}, url = {https://jhs.um.ac.ir/article_34065.html}, eprint = {https://jhs.um.ac.ir/article_34065_2494cc9b4cd17752ead7dc32df76640c.pdf} }
