Dr. Ali Tehranifar is a distinguished professor in the Department of Horticultural Science and Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. With a career spanning over three decades, he has made significant contributions to the field of horticultural science, particularly in the physiology of horticultural plants.​

Since joining Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 1989, Dr. Tehranifar has been actively involved in teaching and research. He has supervised numerous undergraduate, master's, and doctoral theses. His research interests encompass:​

  • Small fruits

  • Ornamental plants and landscape horticulture

  • Hydroponics (soilless culture) and protected cultivation

  • Native horticultural plants such as pomegranate and barberry​

Dr. Tehranifar has collaborated on various research projects with both national and international organizations. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to the advancement of horticultural science.​
